The planning of this reunion started back last summer. Since that time, so much has happened! The enthusiasm over this event has been overwhelming. So many people have asked to be a part of this wonderful 3-day event and I could not do all that has been done without this incredible team of family! Since the first announcement last fall, there have been many changes and added events… extending the reunion an extra day to include a Meet and Greet, an unfortunate (actually fortunate) change of host hotels, a genealogy seminar, online store and more. Every suggestion and comment has been taken to heart and this reunion just keeps getting bigger and better!

The weekend of our reunion is the same time that Louisville is hosting the Breeders’ Cup!
Breeders’ Cup is the championship for North American Thoroughbred racing, attracting top horses from around the world. This event draws record crowds, similar to the Kentucky Derby! To learn more, go to www.breederscup.com/future-host-sites.
What does this mean for the Roederer Reunion??? It means that hotels are dramatically raising their rates and availability will be limited if you wait too long! It is so important to make your reservations NOW and lock-in your room at the deeply discounted rate while space is available. The hotel which have rooms blocked for our reunion will issue a courtesy hold with a credit card, so you have nothing to lose by reserving early – 72-hour cancellation policy. Friday, Nov. 2
Holiday Inn Louisville East, 1325 S. Hurstbourne Pkwy. ― 6:00 to 9:00 pm
- By popular demand, we are extending our time together to include the evening before Saturday’s main event.
- Please join us for a Treffen und Grüssen! (English: Meet and Greet) There will be snacks, cash bar and a great time to renew friendships and meet new family.
Saturday, Nov. 3
German-American Club, 1840 Lincoln Ave. ― 4:00 to 8:00 pm
- We will return to this wonderful facility and learn more about our German culture and ancestors, all while enjoying a delicious German Feast!
- Participate in the silent auction and take home a special German Heritage keepsake.
Sunday, Nov. 4
Churchill Downs, 700 Central Ave. ― 11:30 am to 6:00 pm
- Enjoy a Day at the Races at Churchill Downs, the world’s most iconic and recognized racetrack! The Roederer clan will gather at the BRAND NEW Starting Gate Suites (4 floor), watch the races in comfort and dine on the scrumptious Chef’s Buffet.
- Free Parking and Racing Programs included, so pick your favorite and place your bets to Win, Place or Show!
- Don’t leave your kids at home ― there will be a supervised designated suite for games and activities for all ages.

For those who would like to arrive early or stay a bit longer to explore Louisville, the hotel will extend discount group rates for several days prior to Nov. 2 and three days following Nov. 5.
